Robert Guzman is 54 years old. He holds a Black Belt in Judo and a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 

He was ​a professional boxer from 1989-1991 with a record of 6-0-1 including NJ Diamond Gloves Champion 1987. 

He served in the Army National Guard (MOS 19 D Calvary Scout) 1996-1990 and 2002-2005. 

He was the lead instructor for the Paterson Police Academy from 1996-2010 and the Senior Training Advisor from 2008-2010. 

He was a member of ERT/ SWAT for the Paterson Police Department from 1996-2001. 

He was a member of Task Force Paterson Police from 2018-Present (Patrol Division). 

He was promoted to Sergeant in 2018 (Patrol Division). He is a Boxing Gym owner/ Head Coach (Guzman Fight Lab) 2015-Present.
